Stephen Hawking once said ‘Scientists have become the bearers of the torch of discovery in our quest for knowledge’.
In Share!T, students pass this torch from one to another as they run their marathon for learning new ideas and perspectives in science. Students like yourself will present what they have deemed to be interesting and worth sharing in our informal event where discussion is encouraged. This could range from the wonders of Hawking Radiation in super massive black holes or the recent first photograph of DNA. It could also involve the production of mouth-watering chocolate or the cooking of the perfect steak. Science is all around us, we just have to realize that. When you do, make sure to Share!T.
Share!T 2 will take place in the KSU common room on the 11th of January. Event is free of charge and some nibbles will be provided afterwards. Time and speakers will be updated very soon.
