S-Cubed is a faculty based organization representing the students at the Faculty of Science. So, why should you visit our stand during Freshers’ Week? 1 - HELP...We are here to help you! Do you need assistance with your timetable? Would you like to join a tour around campus to get to know you lecture rooms? Would you like to ask any questions relating to your course? We can help you with that. 2 - Meeting New People! Get to know your classmates, learn about the team-building activities we organize and get involved! Come and Meet The Freshers on Wednesday (Event out soon) or register for our annual Science Seminar. All great ways to get you started! 3 – Freebies and Discounts! Come collect your Fresher’s Pack, with useful information, as well as a copy of the latest issue of our magazine In Touch, issue 9! or Join any of our affiliated societies; Society of Biology, Royal Society of Chemistry and Institute of Physics for a discounted student membership with all the benefits that come with it! Also, pick up freebies kindly provided by these same societies! 4 – Photo Competition Last year we had Crazy Scientist, but what have we come up with this year? Curious? Come take a photo to know, and you’ll be in the chance of winning prizes! 5 – Get to Know S-Cubed Last but not least, get to know what S-Cubed really is! S-Cubed will take part again in Science in the City, Malta this year on the 27th of September.
We will have Science Busking stands in Great Siege Square, in front of law courts, Republic Street on which there will be live demonstrations and interactive games and experiments for Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
