Skoltech Online Applications for MSc Programmes
Skoltech is pleased to announce a limited number of fully funded two-year MSc fellowships in Information Science and Technology (Computer Science) and Energy Science and Technology (Energy Systems, Materials Science, Petroleum Engineering). All courses at Skoltech are taught in English. Applications from non-Russian applications will be accepted until 2 June 2014 for studies beginning in September 2014. This fellowship program is expected to continue for admissions in 2015 as well, including new programs in aerospace engineering, nuclear science, and biomedicine. Established just outside of Moscow in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2011, Skoltech is a novel private postgraduate university that educates global leaders in innovation, advances scientific knowledge, and fosters new technologies to address critical challenges facing Russia and the world. Skoltech's MSc programs combine scientific and technical depth with an eye toward consideration of use--whether in the context of existing industries or new ones. Each academic year is kicked off with an intensive four-week Innovation Workshop designed by our Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and our colleagues at MIT.
All admitted M.Sc. and Ph.D. students receive a full tuition waiver, a generous monthly stipend, medical insurance, and--above all--the chance to contribute to the launch and development of a world-class technical university in Moscow.
